We’re talking Shrimp with Chipotle-Bourbon Butter Sauce, with lots of succulent shrimp simmered in a luscious sauce made with bourbon, garlic, butter, a touch of honey, and smoky chipotles in adobo - only 5 ingredients! It’s a wonderful dinner, but also makes for a great appetizer that people can’t get enough of. This is a GOOD thing, because we’re working with GREAT flavors! Easy enough, right? Here is a shot of what you’ll need to get cooking.

Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Garlic Butter Bourbon - use your favorite! Honey Shrimp

Next, heat a medium sized pan and melt your butter over medium heat, then add in the chipotle-garlic sauce along with the bourbon and honey. Give it all a quick stir and let it simmer about 15 minutes to let the flavors start to meld. You can smell the tang and the zing in the sauce as it simmers, so apologies if it drives you a bit wild. They should be cooked through and have a bit of snap to them. The shrimp will absorb all that wonderful, tangy, slightly spicy sauce and believe me when I say you’ll find yourself wanting this dish again in the very near future once you give it a taste.
