That’s it, my friends. I hope you enjoy this hot honey glazed ham recipe. I’m ready to eat! Let me know if you make it. I’d love to hear how it turned out for you, and how you served yours! We love making ham throughout the year. Typically I’ll make a holiday ham, though I like to do it just a bit different than how we grew up. Many people make a simple honey glazed ham with brown sugar and honey, but my recipe gives it a spicy spin by incorporating my homemade hot honey into the mix. Hot honey is essentially honey that’s been infused with spicy chilies and other seasonings. It brings a wonderful flavor to the ham that I think you will love. Change it this year the next time you make another baked ham. You’ll thank me for this one! Let’s talk about how to make hot honey glazed ham, shall we? Bake the ham for 90 minutes, uncovered. Make the Hot Honey Glaze. While the ham is baking, make the hot honey glaze. Add the honey, butter, brown sugar, mustard, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to a small pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Glaze the Baked Ham. After 90 minutes, brush the ham with half of the glaze. Add 1 cup chicken stock or water to the bottom of the baking pan (keeps the ham moist). Serve the Baked Ham. Remove the ham and cool it slightly. Carve and finish with any remaining glaze just before serving. Boom! Done! Your hot honey glazed ham is ready to serve. Easy enough to make, isn’t it? This is great for any holiday meal, or for your next big party! Enjoy!

You can also freeze it for 6 months. I like to separate it into small batches so we can thaw and use in many different recipes. Got any questions? Ask away! I’m happy to help.
