These are pretty similar to what you might get a Buffalo Wild Wings, a Wingstop, or some of your other wing joints. Only difference is these are homemade, which is always best, where you can control all the ingredients and spices that go into the recipe. These wings focus on the combination of buttery goodness and savory parmesan cheese, with a few extra seasonings tossed in to bring that spicy kick we all crave. I hope you love them as much as we do. Let’s talk about how to make garlic parmesan wings, shall we?

FOR THE CHICKEN WINGS Chicken Wings. Separated and wing tips removed. Baking Powder. Use aluminum free. This draws out the moisture from the chicken skins, which helps with crispiness. Spices. Smoked paprika, cayenne (optional for extra spicy), garlic powder, salt, black pepper. Vegetable Oil. FOR THE GARLIC PARMESAN SAUCE Butter. Parmesan Cheese. Grated. Spices. Paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper, plus optional red pepper flakes and hot sauce for some extra kick. Fresh garlic is great for flavor, too, and chopped fresh parsley for garnish.

For baked wings, bake the seasoned chicken wings at 250 degrees F (120 C) on a rimmed baking sheet for 30 minutes, then increase heat to 425 degrees F (220 C) another 30 minutes. See my post on crispy baked chicken wings for more tips. For air fryer chicken wings, pat the wings dry with paper towels and season them with the spice mix. Add a bit of oil to the air fryer and set the wings on a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry the wings at 250 degrees F (120 C) for 15 minutes. Flip, and increase the temp to 400 degrees F (205 C). Air fry another 15-20 minutes until nice and crispy. Set on a wire rack to drain of excess oil, if needed. Make the garlic parmesan sauce by melting the butter in a sauce pan or pot, then swirling in the parmesan cheese and spices until well combined. Toss the wings with the sauce and life is good. Boom! Done! Your garlic parmesan chicken wings are ready to serve. They look so good! These will not last long. Serve with some celery and blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing. That’s it, my friends. I hope you enjoy my garlic parmesan wings recipe. Let me know if you make it. I’d love to hear how it turned out for you, and if you decided to spice it up!
